Devotional Gatherings

Devotional gatherings are regularly scheduled meeting times of collective worship - the exaltation of God - and sharing a devotional spirit of joy, love and fellowship. Readings are taken from the Bahá'í Writings and the Holy Scriptures of other religions. Participants are encouraged to bring their prayer book to share and prayer requests for assistance, health, the departed are often honored. Musical selections are often diverse, coming from a variety of cultures and styles. There is no established ritual, no request for funds, and light refreshments are often served.

Devotional gatherings are held on Sundays at 10:45 am at the Bahá'í Center in San Antonio. Devotionals are also hosted in private homes throughout San Antonio area and the surrounding area. To find a devotional gathering near you, please click on "Contact Us" on the top menu.
